Venue is everything. Finding a space that you feel represents your personality and gives you that happy feeling will make your big day all the better.
Mallorca has some amazing venues, whether that’s beachside, hidden away in a finca near the mountains or in a trendy new hot spot there are spaces to suit all couples.
We created this shoot in a very unusual but very cool space to host parties, a new venue on the scene. As you come to this property you will notice its busting outside space full of trees and greenery with divine courtyards of dusty pink stone that gives it that countryside secret garden look. The grand stone building is covered in countless little hidden archways and beautiful doorways, a very rustic and Spanish aesthetic. However, on the inside it’s a different story. A massive open space with a grand and regal arched roof that towers overhead creating a very impressive modern feel, a huge contrast to what you would expect from outside. This main room is surrounded with large windows which illuminate the building with beautiful Mallorca sunshine and give life to the space. Vibrant and powerful in its presence it is just a fantastic area to set up a wedding reception.
When designing the table, we chose to keep the color palette neutral. We started with a very pale beige table cloth, delicate cream napkins, used small white vases to host pretty and fun centerpieces of bustling fluffy cream pampas grass and kept the glassware and the chairs both transparent. To give the table a lift, we used beautifully asymmetrically coffee hued rustic plates with bold bronze cutlery. At each setting we find an individual personalized menu with a small sprig of dried white wild flower, simple yet stunning.
The brides style is just so chic and cool, we love this dress with its fine lace and dainty polkadots complimented with wild and daring puff sleeves, another wonderful creation by Rachel de Las Scuevas. Then to top the look off with this absolutely fabulous Spanish made handwoven hat by Zahati just screams with the latest trends and bridal fashion. Not only that, the dress is versatile as you can see from the shots- no that’s not a different dress!
The bridal bouquet by Dalency is a combination of local wildflowers that have been dried out and some dyed to allow these neural flowers to have splashes of cerise and burning ember. We love!
